In the Year 3023, the world is a very different place than it once was.
A giant eyeball is the Master Emperor, and all 10 billion humans must report every single detail of their lives to him.

Nobody knows what happens if you don't obey the Master Emperor, only that millions of people have vanished over the last 100 years.

Surveillance, totalitarianism and equality are the norm. We have tried to figure out when all of this started, but people don't live as long as they used to. So how will we find out how we got here?
